Thailand is a spice blend from Widowmakers BBQ with a distinct Asian flavor profile. The base is built on Thai chili, ginger, turmeric, and lemon pepper, which together create a fresh, aromatic spice with balanced heat and acidity. Basil and black pepper round off the profile. The result is a spice that works equally well in a wok as on the grill.
The spice is developed for chicken, fish, and seafood but also works excellently on vegetables, rice, and noodles. On fish, it enhances the flavor without overpowering it, making it a good fish seasoning for salmon, cod, and white fish. On chicken, it provides a fresh surface with a light heat that suits everything from chicken skewers and wok to curry.
How to use Thailand spice blend and fish seasoning
As a rub, apply a small amount over chicken fillets, fish, or large shrimp before frying or grilling. Let the spice sit for 15 to 30 minutes so that the flavors penetrate. Since the spice has a distinct flavor profile, you don't need to use as much as with a classic BBQ rub.
