Our story from Swedish nature to the heart of the bar
Björk & Bitter was born from a shared dream between Daniel and Joakim, we want to create something that carries with it what we love most, craftsmanship, taste and our Nordic soul.
We grew up surrounded by forests. Our childhood was marked by the smell of wet moss, the crunch of shoes on gravel roads and the silhouette of birch trees moving softly in the wind. Swedish nature is not just a place for us, it is a feeling, a heritage. That is exactly the feeling we want to capture in every detail of our brand.
The name Björk & Bitter is our tribute to Scandinavian melancholy, but also to the robust, the authentic and the down-to-earth. The birch, with its light trunk and hardy character, symbolizes our roots. The bitterness, not only as a taste but as a feeling, captures our interest in complex flavors, balanced experiences and artisanal perfection.
We wanted to create a series of products that not only fulfill their function behind the bar, but also tell a story. Every shaker, every measurement and every detail of the design is carefully thought out and carries a Nordic soul. This is not mass-produced, it is created with respect for the craft, and with a desire to pass on our view of aesthetics, quality and feel.
