🌲 Negroni with a Swedish twist

Negroni with a Swedish twist – classic cocktail with Nordic tones

The classic Negroni gets a Nordic upgrade with juniper-dominant gin and an herbaceous Swedish bitter. The result is a drink with a distinct character – bitter, spicy and perfect as an aperitif.

Ingredients

  • 3 cl red vermouth
  • 3 cl Swedish bitter or alternative to Campari (e.g. Kallsup or Björkbitter)
  • Ice
  • Orange zest or dried citrus slice for garnish

Approach

  1. Pour all ingredients into a tumbler with ice.
  2. Stir for about 20 seconds until the drink is thoroughly chilled.
  3. Strain into a low glass filled with ice.
  4. Garnish with orange zest and preferably a birch leaf for a visual Nordic feel.
